Banana ice cream is a perfect sweet treat for after dinner or for a little afternoon snack. It takes a little bit of planning ahead, but is pretty simple and very tasty.
2-3 ripe bananas (with brown spots)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 -2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons coconut cream
Peel bananas and cut into slices. Place in a freezer proof dish or bag. Freeze for 3 -5 hours or overnight.
Place frozen bananas in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until smooth and creamy.
Add remaining ingredients and pulse again until combined.
Freeze for 30 minutes or so until frozen. Stir in pretzels as you serve it. (If you stir in earlier they will get soggy!)
